# Create new group

> Build a new quest group in your campaign to organize related quests, then explore the group dashboard to add quests and manage tasks.

## Create quest group

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access your campaign">
    From your Claimr dashboard, navigate to **Campaigns** and select the campaign you want to add the group to.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Navigate to the Groups section">
    Click the **Quests** tab in the top navigation bar. From the dropdown menu that appears, select **Groups**. This will take you to the Groups management page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create group">
    On the Groups page, click the **Create group** button in the top right. This will open a modal window.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Name your group">
    In the modal window, enter a descriptive name for your new group in the field. The name should indicate the theme or purpose of the quests within the group.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create">
    The new, empty group will now be created and will appear in the list of groups.

## Group dashboard

Once your group is created and saved, you'll be taken to the dashboard.

The dashboard allows you to:

* **View group details**: The group's name, and any configured settings.
* **Add quests**: Click **+ Create quest** to add a new quest directly to this group.
* **Manage existing quests**: If you have existing quests, they will be displayed.
* **Manage existing tasks**: If you have existing tasks, they can be opened by clicking the corresponding button.
* **Edit group settings**: Click on the edit button (pencil) to change the group's settings.
