# Pop-ups

Pop-ups are dynamic, customizable messages that appear over your claimr campaign's main content at specific moments. They are a powerful tool for engaging with users, delivering key information, and guiding their experience within your campaign.

## **What types of pop-ups does claimr offer?**

claimr provides two main types of pop-ups, each designed for a different stage of the user journey:

* [**Intro pop-up**](/pop-ups/into-pop-up.md)**:** This pop-up appears to users when they first enter your claimr campaign. It serves as a welcome screen or an initial information delivery method.
* [**Completion pop-up**](/pop-ups/completion-pop-up.md)**:** This pop-up displays to users after they successfully complete a task or an entire quest within your campaign. It acts as a confirmation or a next-step guide.

## **Why use pop-ups in your campaign?**

Implementing pop-ups can significantly enhance your campaign's effectiveness and user experience:

* **Onboard and guide users:** Pop-ups allow you to smoothly introduce new users to your campaign's purpose, theme, or how to participate. They can provide initial instructions, crucial rules, guidelines, or prerequisites before users dive into tasks.
* **Enhance engagement:** By delivering timely and relevant messages, pop-ups can increase user interaction and ensure they receive critical information at important points in their journey.
* **Improve user experience:** Pop-ups create a customized and tailored experience, from welcoming users at the start to acknowledging their achievements at the end.
* **Provide feedback and next steps:** Completion pop-ups are particularly useful for confirming successful actions, thanking users, providing final instructions, or directing them to subsequent activities like claiming rewards.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.claimr.io/pop-ups.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
