# Rewards

A reward is something of value that you offer to users for completing specific tasks or achieving certain milestones within your campaign. It's a way to recognize and acknowledge their efforts, encouraging them to continue participating and striving for further accomplishments.

Rewards play a crucial role in gamification by:

* **Motivating users:** The prospect of earning rewards encourages users to engage with your campaign and complete tasks.
* **Driving desired actions:** By associating rewards with specific actions, you can incentivize users to take those actions, such as signing up for a newsletter, making a purchase, or referring a friend.
* **Increasing user retention:** Rewards create a sense of accomplishment and encourage users to stay active within your campaign, leading to higher retention rates.
* **Building brand loyalty:** By offering valuable and desirable rewards, you can foster positive associations with your brand and build stronger relationships with your users.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.claimr.io/rewards.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
