Customization tools

These tools change how the campaign widget looks and reads. They use the Customization permission area.

Overview

Tool	What it does	Access
`claimr_get_customizations`	Summarizes how a campaign is customized: whether it has custom CSS, which layout regions it overrides, how many widget options it changed, and which languages it has translations for.	Customization: read

Start with “Summarize how this campaign is customized” to see what’s already changed before editing.

Widget options are the switches and pickers from the panel’s widget settings, such as showing the leaderboard or wrapping quest cards.

`claimr_get_widget_options`	Lists the widget options, their current values, and the values each one takes.	Customization: read
`claimr_set_widget_options`	Changes widget options. Options you don’t mention stay as they are.	Customization: write

Layout

The layout controls the structure of widget regions: the campaign page, the quest card, the quest pop-up, the quest group, the user progress bar, and the leaderboard columns.

Tool	What it does	Access
`claimr_get_layout_blocks`	Lists the widget’s layout regions and the blocks each region can hold. Reference only, it doesn’t read a campaign.	Customization: read
`claimr_get_layout`	Shows which regions a campaign overrides, or the blocks of one region.	Customization: read
`claimr_set_layout`	Changes one region, or the whole layout. Widget options stored with the layout are kept.	Customization: write

Custom CSS

Tool	What it does	Access
`claimr_get_css`	Reads the campaign’s custom stylesheet, in slices, or searches it.	Customization: read
`claimr_set_css`	Adds rules to the stylesheet, edits one passage, or replaces it.	Customization: write

Custom CSS is applied on top of the widget theme.

Translations

Tool	What it does	Access
`claimr_get_localization`	Reads a campaign’s widget texts in one language: the ones it changed and, on request, the defaults it could change.	Customization: read
`claimr_set_localization`	Changes widget texts in one language. Texts you don’t mention keep the default. Turns the language on for the campaign if needed.	Customization: write
`claimr_set_locales`	Sets which languages a campaign offers and which one it opens in.	Customization: write

English is the fallback for every other language. Changing an English text changes it everywhere a translation doesn’t override it.

Campaign, quest, and task descriptions are translated with the description tools, not these. Related page: Localization.
