Widget configurations

The widget is the interface where users interact with quests, tasks, challenges, and leaderboards. It defines how campaign content is displayed and how users track their own progress. You can configure the widget to highlight specific components, adjust layouts, and add personalization. To access widget settings:

1. Go to Campaigns.
2. Select the campaign you want to configure.
3. Open the Customization menu.
4. Select Widget settings.

User progress

User progress settings control whether users can see their own progress, switch accounts, or view profile details inside the widget. These options affect how much visibility and control users have over their activity and identity in the campaign. Show user progress toggle

• When enabled, users see their current progress at the top of the widget.
• Recommended if you want to motivate users with visible feedback.
• Can be disabled if you prefer a minimal, distraction-free widget.

Show logout button

• Allow users to log out from the widget when they want to disconnect their account or switch to a different one.

Enable user profile pop-up

• Opens a popup with user profile details.
• Useful when campaigns use profile-based data.
• Can be disabled for simple use cases where profile data is not needed.

Localization

Localization settings control whether users can select their preferred language directly in the widget. This allows the widget interface to adapt to different audiences without requiring changes in campaign setup. Shortcuts

Shortcuts provide fast access to selected quests. Use this section to decide whether shortcuts should appear in the widget and how they are displayed. If you enable Use shortcuts, an additional section appears in the widget with highlighted quests. You can then choose a display mode:

• Default – Compact layout for shortcuts.
• Quest card view – Full card layout, matching the style of other quest cards.

Challenges

Challenges display in the widget as a separate content type, distinct from quests. Use this section to control how challenge cards are arranged. If you enable Show challenges, challenge cards become visible in the widget. You can then adjust their layout:

• Wrap challenge cards – Resize and wrap cards to fit the widget width.
• Left-align challenge cards – Align all challenge cards to the left edge.

Groups

Groups control how quests are displayed and organized within the widget. You can adjust the layout, alignment, navigation, and handling of completed quests. Quest cards layout Choose how quest cards are arranged in a group layout:

• Single row – all quests are shown in a single horizontal row.
• Wrap cards – quests wrap into multiple rows when space runs out.

Card alignment Align quest cards to the center or left inside a single-row group. Slider arrows Display horizontal navigation arrows when quest cards are in a single row. Layout style Present quests as grouped tabs or as a single inline list.

• Tabs – quests are grouped under selectable tabs.
• Inline – all quests are shown in a continuous list.

Group names Show or hide the names of quest groups above their quests.

• Enable – displays the name of each quest group above its quests.
• Disable – hides group names for a cleaner layout.

Quest open mode Select how quest details are shown: within the same view or in a pop-up.

• Available only if Layout style is set to Tabs.
• Options: Popup or Inline.

Inline quest countdown Enable inline quest countdown.

• Available only if Layout style is set to Tabs and Quest open mode is set to Inline.

Wrap completed quests Group completed quests visually or display them alongside active quests in the same layout. Reorder completed quests Automatically move completed quests to the end of their group. Completed quests group Show all completed quests separately from active ones. Reorder quest groups Move groups with completed quests to the bottom of the widget.

Leaderboard

The leaderboard displays top participants inside the widget. Leaderboard Display a leaderboard panel inside the widget to showcase top participants. Collapsed view Show only top participants by default in a minimized leaderboard layout. Display mode Select how the leaderboard is shown: within the same view or in a pop-up.

Tasks

Tasks control how individual quest tasks are displayed inside the widget. Collapsible tasks Allow users to expand or collapse individual task cards. Task order Prioritize active tasks by automatically moving completed ones to the bottom of the list.

More quests

The More quests section adds an extra section with additional quests at the end of the current view. Card alignment Align extra quest cards to the center or left inside the active quest layout. Slider arrows Display arrows to navigate through quest cards.

Popups

Use popups to notify users about task completions. Completed task pop-up Use a pop-up message to notify users when a task is completed.

Additional components

Additional components provide extra context and engagement features within the quest widget. Quest progress bar Show user progress based on completed tasks in the quest. Quest participants count Display the number of users currently participating in the quest.

Close button

Custom Close button Choose which button appears for closing quests. Button view

• Go back – displays a back arrow icon that returns the user to the previous view.
• Close icon – displays an X icon that closes the view.
