What are Binance tasks?

Binance tasks let users connect their Binance account to Claimr through an API key they create on Binance. Claimr then reads the account to verify activity and reward it. There are 6 Binance task types:
  • Connect Binance Account: Link a user’s Binance account with an API key.
  • Binance KYC: Verify that the connected account has completed identity verification.
  • Binance BABT: Verify KYC with no API key, from the Binance Account Bound Token in the user’s wallet.
  • Binance Trading Volume: Track the spot volume the user traded over a time window.
  • Binance Hold Token: Check that the user holds at least a set amount of a token.
  • Binance Deposit: Check that the user deposited at least a set amount of a token onto Binance.
The user connects the account once, with the Connect Binance Account task. Every other Binance task reuses that key, and asks for one only if none is stored yet.

Connect Binance account

  1. Go to your quest and click + Create new task.
  2. Under the Category section, select Onchain Actions.
  3. In the Groups list, choose Binance.
  4. Select Connect Binance Account from the list of task types.
  5. Click Continue to proceed to task settings.
  • Completion points: Set the number of points awarded when the user completes the task.
  • Points multiplier (%): Add a percentage-based bonus to the total reward. Example: a 10% multiplier increases the final reward by 10%.
Users create an API key in their Binance account settings and enter it in the task (API key and secret). Ask users to create a read-only key. Claimr only ever reads the account. Once the key works, Claimr stores it for the user’s other Binance tasks and marks the task as complete.

Binance KYC

  1. Go to your quest and click + Create new task.
  2. Under the Category section, select Onchain Actions.
  3. In the Groups list, choose Binance.
  4. Select Binance KYC from the list of task types.
  5. Click Continue to proceed to task settings.
  • Completion points: Set the number of points awarded when the user completes the task.
  • Points multiplier (%): Add a percentage-based bonus to the total reward. Example: a 10% multiplier increases the final reward by 10%.
This task confirms that the connected Binance account has completed identity verification. Binance reports the verification status for the connected key.
Claimr doesn’t receive KYC data, only whether the account is verified.

Binance BABT

  1. Go to your quest and click + Create new task.
  2. Under the Category section, select Onchain Actions.
  3. In the Groups list, choose Binance.
  4. Select Binance BABT from the list of task types.
  5. Click Continue to proceed to task settings.
  • Completion points: Set the number of points awarded when the user completes the task.
  • Points multiplier (%): Add a percentage-based bonus to the total reward. Example: a 10% multiplier increases the final reward by 10%.
  • Verification link (optional): The page where users mint their BABT.
This task checks that a wallet the user signed in with holds a Binance Account Bound Token (BABT) on BNB Chain. Only KYC-verified Binance users can mint one, so it proves a verified Binance account without any API key. A BABT that Binance revoked no longer counts. The same check is also available on the Onchain KYC tasks page.

Binance trading volume

  1. Go to your quest and click + Create new task.
  2. Under the Category section, select Onchain Actions.
  3. In the Groups list, choose Binance.
  4. Select Binance Trading Volume from the list of task types.
  5. Click Continue to proceed to task settings.
  • Completion points: Set the number of points awarded when the user completes the task.
  • Points multiplier (%): Add a percentage-based bonus to the total reward. Example: a 10% multiplier increases the final reward by 10%.
  • Symbol: The spot trading pair, written the way Binance writes it (for example, BTCUSDT). To count several pairs, separate them with commas. Their volumes are added up, so pick pairs that share a quote currency.
  • Volume: The volume the user must reach, in the pair’s quote currency.
  • Maker volume only? (optional): Count only trades where the user provided liquidity as a maker.
  • Time, h (optional): Count only trades from the last number of hours.
  • Start at and End at (optional): Count only trades between these dates. With no time window set, the task counts the last 90 days.
  • Is progressive reward? (optional): Scale the reward with how many times the user reaches the volume. Example: if 10 USDT of volume earns 2 points, 20 USDT earns 4 points.
  • Max progressive amount (optional): The highest volume used to calculate progressive rewards. Example: with a limit of 100,000 USDT, a user who trades 1,000,000 USDT still receives the reward for 100,000 USDT.
  • Is continuous (optional): Keep the task open after completion, so users keep earning as their volume grows.

Binance hold token

  1. Go to your quest and click + Create new task.
  2. Under the Category section, select Onchain Actions.
  3. In the Groups list, choose Binance.
  4. Select Binance Hold Token from the list of task types.
  5. Click Continue to proceed to task settings.
  • Completion points: Set the number of points awarded when the user completes the task.
  • Points multiplier (%): Add a percentage-based bonus to the total reward. Example: a 10% multiplier increases the final reward by 10%.
  • Token: The token ticker, for example USDT.
  • Amount: The amount of the token the user must hold.
Claimr checks the balance when the user claims the task. Spot balances count, including tokens locked in open orders.

Binance deposit

  1. Go to your quest and click + Create new task.
  2. Under the Category section, select Onchain Actions.
  3. In the Groups list, choose Binance.
  4. Select Binance Deposit from the list of task types.
  • Amount: The amount the user must deposit, in the token.
  • Network (optional): Count only deposits that arrived on this network. Use the network name as Binance shows it. Leave it empty to count any network.
  • Time, h, Start at and End at (optional): Count only deposits made in this window.
Only deposits the exchange has credited to the account count. Deposits older than 89 days are never counted, because some exchanges keep no older deposit history.
