What are Polymarket tasks?
Polymarket tasks reward prediction market activity, read from the Ethereum wallet the user signed in to Claimr with. Users don’t need to share an API key. Polymarket trades from a separate wallet that the user’s own address controls. Claimr finds it automatically: it asks Polymarket’s public profile for it, and also works out each wallet type Polymarket creates for that address. Only the user’s own wallets are ever counted. There are 5 Polymarket task types:- Polymarket Trading Volume: USDC the user traded on Polymarket over the window.
- Polymarket Trades Count: How many trades the user made on Polymarket.
- Polymarket Markets Traded: How many different markets the user has traded, over their whole history.
- Polymarket Portfolio Value: The current value of the user’s open positions.
- Polymarket Hold Position: The user holds a position in your market right now, worth at least the set amount at the current price. Use it for “take a side on our market” quests.
Polymarket’s data API returns at most 5,500 trades per query. For very active traders, set a time window so the count stays accurate.
